HTTPS on project create: does 1.1.8 turn it on by itself?

I used to toggle HTTPS on the card. 1.1.8 says the cert is issued automatically. Safari still complains about *.localhost — bug, or Keychain?

MacFullStack

From 1.1.8, if mkcert is installed, create and rename turn HTTPS on and reissue the shared certificate. Local HTTPS “like production” is part of Free, not a checkout extra.

If Safari does not trust it:

  1. Doctor / refresh HTTPS (macstack https refresh).
  2. In Keychain Access, set the mkcert local CA to Always Trust.

Chrome often accepts it before Safari. Default HTTPS port is 8443 (80/443 — Settings → Ports).

Download 1.1.8 and create a project: you no longer tick HTTPS by hand.
