MacFullStack

Everything you need locally: PHP, CMS, Node, and Python

Native and Docker in one window. Any CMS opens like it does on the host. A clients cabinet is on Pro. Cursor connects to the stack over MCP. Free is one PHP project.

Stack: Native + Docker + PHP

One app, full services in both modes. Native — no Docker Desktop; Docker — when you need isolation. Switching modes keeps projects.

  • The same services in Native and Docker — Native is not a cut-down mode
  • Several PHP versions (including 8.5), extensions, Xdebug on demand
  • HTTPS via mkcert without fighting certificates by hand
  • Default URLs: http://name.localhost:8088 and https://name.localhost:8443 — no macOS admin password
  • Own PHP and nginx: Homebrew and system PHP are left alone
  • Native nginx (Apache mostly in Docker)

Services: core on Free, full set on Pro

Free: MySQL or MariaDB (pick one), Redis, Mailpit, phpMyAdmin — for one PHP project. Everything else is Pro/Teams.

MySQL / MariaDB
PostgreSQL
Redis
MongoDB
Meilisearch
Typesense
OpenSearch
MinIO
Soketi
Laravel Reverb
RabbitMQ
Memcached
Mailpit
Gotenberg
phpMyAdmin
Adminer
Redis Insight
Mongo Express
pgAdmin
nginx / PHP-FPM

Names match the app. MySQL and MariaDB do not run at the same time: pick one database.

CMS: drop an archive — open the domain

Not only “our” templates: a foreign archive or git clone gets the right site root and rewrite rules.

Laravel

public/ docroot, .env, queue/schedule/Reverb

Custom PHP

Scripts, landings, admin panels — no MacFullStack template required

WordPress

Multisite-friendly aliases and zones

Symfony

Standard public/ and PHP versions

Drupal

Typical layout and rewrite

Joomla

Ready local start

OpenCart

E-commerce docroot

Yii2

Classic PHP framework

Bitrix

Typical layout and rewrite, like other CMS

API

Clean API skeleton without a front end

The site root is detected for you

Native nginx does not read .htaccess. MacFullStack finds the real root (Laravel/public, WordPress, typical CMS, and custom scripts) and applies matching rewrite and security rules — so you can drop an archive and open the domain.

Domains: zones, multisite, wildcards

Don’t get stuck on .localhost. Configure custom zones, project aliases, wildcards, and multisite.

Custom zones

Your own domain endings for local work, not only .localhost.

Aliases and hosts

Extra names per project: admin., api., staging.

Multisite / wildcards

Wildcards and explicit subdomains for WP Multisite and project aliases.

Tools: debug, preview, background jobs

Everything after “the site opened”: logs, mail, dumps, diagnostics, MCP for Cursor, and modern frameworks.

MacFullStack — Tools: Composer, artisan, Doctor

Share

A client link via Cloudflare or ngrok. Named tunnels and keep-alive — in Pro.

Workers

Queues, schedule, and Laravel Reverb as managed project processes (Pro/Teams).

Node / Vite

Next, Vite, Angular, and more — the domain points at a local server (Pro/Teams).

Python

Django, Flask, FastAPI — the same model as Node (Pro/Teams).

Log Viewer

Project logs without hopping to the terminal.

Debug Dumps

Dump collector; auto-start — Pro.

Mail

Mailpit inbox in project context plus .env hints.

Doctor

Stack and port checks with hints on what to fix.

MCP for Cursor

Local server: projects, status, Doctor, logs, start and stop. No cloud account. Included in Free.

Composer, artisan, WP-CLI

Run them from the project card, without fighting PATH.

Xdebug on demand

Installed but quiet: trigger mode instead of always-on slowdown.

Clients: a studio cabinet on the Mac

A client card next to their sites: brief, logins, files. The section is visible on Free; creating and editing needs Pro/Teams. Nothing goes to the cloud.

Brief

Contacts, requisites, and custom fields. One client, many projects.

Access

Logins and passwords in a 0600 secrets.json on your Mac, not in the project git tree.

Files

Briefs and contracts copy into the client folder. Deleting a card never deletes www/.
