The client asks to “see staging”, but staging is your MacBook at client.localhost. Share on Pro/Teams exposes a public URL via cloudflared or ngrok without hand-typing tunnel commands.
Quick start
- Project works locally over HTTPS — check card Health.
- Tools → Share → Start.
- Copy the URL from the UI and send it to the client.
- Stop when done; intentional stop pauses until the next Start.
Prefer cloudflared vs ngrok in Settings → General. Help: /help/share.
Keep-alive
LaunchAgent watches the tunnel:
macstack tools share keep-alive --enable --json
macstack tools share watchdog --json
If the tunnel should be up but died — watchdog revives it. Long demo days without “link expired in an hour”.
Cloudflare Access
Named tunnels, DNS (macstack tools share route-dns), and Cloudflare Access policies live in the Cloudflare Dashboard. MacFullStack owns the tunnel; Access boundary → macstack tools share access-hint.
Useful when the client must not get a bare URL without OTP.
