OpenCart, MODX, and Yii on Mac: hosting archive → domain

Not only Laravel and Bitrix. A typical agency case: the client sent an OpenCart / MODX / Yii2 zip “as on the host”. MacFullStack finds the real docroot and emits nginx rules instead of .htaccess — Native does not read htaccess.

Import recipe

1. Unpack the archive into ~/MacFullStack/www/shop or Projects → from archive.
2. Create a project on that folder (or import the path).
3. Check the root: public/, www/, repo root — project card and Health.
4. Import .sql by dragging it onto the project list.
5. In .env / config.php / db.php set 127.0.0.1, user macstack, password macstack.
6. Open https://shop.localhost:8443 — from 1.1.8, HTTPS turns on at create time if mkcert is installed.

502/403 right after import: almost always docroot or rewrite. Walkthrough: /blog/502-403-lokalno, CMS: /cms.

What we do not promise

We will not magically port every custom Apache module from production. We do promise: domain, HTTPS, PHP pin, MySQL/Redis, SQL console, and logs in one window. Odd rewrites go into the project nginx config.
